About a week ago we decided to spend a spring break day with the kids in D.C. to take in the beauty of the cherry trees in all their glory. We couldn't have picked a more perfect day. The weather, the blooms and the company were a glorious combination.

The sky was so brilliant blue and the way the blossoms glistened in the sunlight was just spectacular.After we enjoyed the blossoms we trekked over to this place for a most scrumptious burger and root beer floats. YUM!

We'll be back again next Spring for sure.
