Then, we hopped in the car and trekked on over to The Queen's Ink to meet up with Hope of Paper Relics! We had such fun browsing for art supplies and catching up. Hope is so talented in everything she does. She shared her amazing journal with us while we ate lunch and we talked a little about my online shop she is designing for me. She is so inspiring and full of ideas. I have never started a journal yet, but I think it is time! The day flew by too fast, but we already have plans for the end of the month! Can't wait Girls! Thanks for the day!
My day ended with these delicious cookies, made by Cammy! They were oh so good!! Thanks Pal! BTW, I did have to share the rest with my family. Darn! They are always up for a scrumptious sweet!
Notice the bee in the top photo? He was loving the plum tree we just planted in our front yard last year. And I'm loving that shade of pink!
This is a close up of the pear tree on our patio! I think it is my favorite in the garden. It looks pink in the picture, but it is really white!
And---last but not least, one of several tiny Grape Hyacinths Surrounding our patio. I love how something so small can have such beautiful detail. I'm really loving the color of the flowers with the bright green foliage in the background.
Well, I'm off to plant the rest of my Pansies. They have been waiting patiently, through the cold rainy weather we have been having the past few days. But, today has brought blue skies and warm sun!

ReplyDeleteIt certainly was a fun day, wasn't it!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are amazing Kelli, and I especially love the Grape Hyacinths. It reminded me of when I was little. At our elementary school there was a field across the street that was filled with Grape Hyacinths. During recess my friends and I would run over to the field and pick big bunches of this sweet flower.
Thanks for the memory!
