BACK TO WORK

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it work. I love what I get to do, so technically I can't really call it work.
That being said, I have been itching to get back to what I do---making things for Posies On Parade!
The kids went back to school on Wednesday. The girls started middle school and they are handling it so much better than their mom! I'm still in denial that this is happening already. It seems like just yesterday they were starting kindergarten. Oh goodness gracious! Sigh...

Anywhoo... the summer was a good one, although it was too hot and our grass turned gray, the time spent with the kids flew by way too quickly. I do have to admit though, that I have missed working in my studio on a regular basis. Soooo, it's time to focus again on my poor neglected little shop. I have lots of new ideas and many things to add in the coming weeks.
So exciting!!!!!
The photos are a glimpse of my work table. This is what it usually looks like. I try really hard to keep it picked up and organized. But, when I'm working on a couple different things at once, my brain works faster than my hands and I don't have time to put things where they belong. So, whatever I'm working with at the time, is left on the table until I run out of room. Or....it ends up on the floor, especially all the fabric scraps and all those little threads! Does anyone else do that too?

I'm excited to get back into the swing of things. I hope you come along on my journey.

A little peek at something yummy in the works!!!!
Have a lovely weekend!

  1. I LOVE your studio! It looks like a very talented artist lives in there! :) Are those little cupcakes we see? Whatever they are, they will be amazing!

  2. I will definitely be along for the ride and checking in to see what you are creating Kelli! I sure do know what you are talking about with the mess. When I sew, I throw everything on the floor and then try to keep it picked up...or not.lol! I'm very messy when I am creating. My husband walked out to the studio yesterday and just shook his head and walked right back out.hehe
You asked about how I make my pictures bigger. If you are using the new editor, it gives you the option of sm,md,lg,and x-lg. I choose the x-lg and I have the stretch template that was available, before blogger changed the templates. I'm not sure if it is still available, since they made the changes. Does this help? I don't make much sense when I don't know what I'm talking about...LOL!
    hugs to you...
Thank you so much for your sweet comment on the tea!
